      GREAT THREAD!!!!!! EXCELLENT REMINDER OF THE HAZARDS OF OLD TIRES. REPLACED MY TRAILER TIRES A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE I HAVE GOOD TIRES ON THE VEHICLES. TRAILER TIRES SEEM TO GO UNSEEN SOMETIMES THOUGH................NOTICE TO ALL US BOATERS!!!!!!!!!!!

        we've had a couple trailer tires blow this summer for apparently no reason...wonder if its related or not

          Checked the trailer tire, they have a julien date of the 17th week of 05. This means they were a year old by time I took delivery. Will check SUV's in the AM.

              That's July05, that makes them 3 yrs old, when did you install these tires?

                      Remember the Carlisle tires that went bad on so many Extreme trailers in 2002? (I had them) Never knew you could find a date on them.

                            I've had 3 blow on me this year. I learned my lesson finally and replaced the other 2 b4 anything more happened.

                            All were dated July 05 and I picked it up Sept. 05. Guess it was time

                            Of course my wheel wells are trashed on my trailer as each one had the tread come off just like this
                            Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.
