Fun @ Lake Brownwood Reunion Aug 16

Despite the weather @ Lake Brownwood on Saturday, the Tige owner's reunion was great fun! Thank you to Hook & Anchor for hosting an awesome event!

Short story:

Tige owners from all over Texas showed
A local band played and lunch was served at Hook & Anchor dealership

Rain stopped around noon, sky brightened - Tige's launched on the lake

About 4 hours of hangin' out with everyone, surfing and wakeboarding, kids swimming off the back of the Tige's and jumping from the 2nd story dock. Families havin' a great time together!

2009 Tige Boat give-away winner Freddie and Gwen Oliveras from Big Spring, Texas. They currently own a yellow 2004 24V and take their boat and friends to lakes from Possum Kingdom to Colorado City Lake in Texas.

Factory was open for tours today (Sunday). Freddie and Gwen stopped in for a factory tour and to see the 2009 models in production and see the colors to help them choose their 2009 Tige! They love their 24V and then they sat in an RZ2 and RZ4 and are ready for an upgrade! RZ2 or RZ4....... orange or lime green..... life is good!

All in all it was a Great event (even with rain)....even though I didn't win the new boat. The funny thing was Freddie and Gwen were camped and anchored next to us and we had just met the night before they won! Great Couple and very excited about there new boat....Tige is going to have their hands full installing the replacement stereo in the new boat! Congradulations Freddie and Gwen! Now just get a motorhome to pull the boat and your are good to go!!

Great fun!!! Thanks to all for the food and fun, even with the rain it was a great time. The 09 tower and models look better in person. Congrads to Freddie and Gwen we also camped next to them and the grand prize went to awesome people, can't wait to see your new toy behind your new RV ( ha ha ) Lake Brownwood is a very nice lake and we would try it again.

We had a great time! Many thanks to the folks at Hook & Anchor--very nice place and even nicer people. Also many thanks to Tony from Tige'... when we went to launch our boat it would not start, took it back to the dealer and discovered it was a faulty low oil pressure safety switch and they didn't have the part in stock to fix it--get this--Tony stepped up Big Time. He was there and overheard the dilemma we were in, we had a load of kids and family there from the Metroplex that had driven down to meet us and go wakeboarding, etc--he offered us up a brand new '09 RZ2 to use as long as we liked! Saved the day! We boarded, cruised and had a great time... in a beautiful new Tige'!!! Thanks again Tony... and thanks Tige for a first class event!

Although the weather was a bit gloomy, the day was fantastic! Everyone's havin' a great time! Water temp was warmer than the air temp.

I really appreciate everyone’s support on the first annual Tige Reunion on Lake Brownwood. We look forward to doing this every year. Hopefully next year the weather will cooperate. It was good to hang out with all of you. A big thanks to Donnie Wilson and the Hook & Anchor Crew, you guys are great.

I want to thank Jean for the tour of the factory, night and day difference from the old one, Tony thanks for everything, enjoyed hanging out with everyone. Everyone @ Hook & Anchor for putting this on, between the band, food, and getting to meet other people. My two neighbors it was a pleasure meeting both of you and you families, hope tp see you up in Austin soon!!

Damn those conditions of the water looked terrible. Maybe next year my dealership can raffle off a 2010 Tige...
