Yeah, is was a '91 model e34 M5.. Completely stock 310 hp rocket, 100% hand built and solid as a rock and fun to drive. VERY different than the newer ones and more fun to drive in my opinion. Finally did sell it to a real buyer and shipped it to the east coat to him. Fun cars indeed!

        Yeah... I have driven a newer m3, m5 and also an m6

The m6 was powerful as all get out, but too refined for my taste.

Ok, that makes sense on something that you are selling and they want you to send them overpayment $ back to them, maybe I am not quite getting how the inquiry on boat for sale is going to work. Is the scam asking for a deposit on a boat, you send it and they then fall off the face of the earth???

I was looking through a boat trader magazine this morning and saw what looks to be a relatively new MC XStar (2 or 3years old at most) listed for 24k, I immediately think that has got to be a misprint, it was lacking a lot of details about the boat, and was listed 3 times back to back in the book, maybe this is one also, the area code for the phone number is Pasadena CA and it is listed in boat trader book for the mid atlantic area..................Hmmmmmmmmmm
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

The last scam I saw was on a specialty site offering a '96 Twin Turbo 911 Porsche for $25k. Like new condition and should have been priced closer to $75k. I called and the person barely spoke a word of English and all they told me was exactly word for word the description from the ad. SCAM. Ever since some lady sold her cheating husband's $100k Porsche for $10k to get back at him I usually at least make a quick call just to be sure!!!!!!

Here is another one for the Denver posting that I have done.

                -----------------------------------------------
                Hello,

I'm very interested in your boat you have available for sale. I currently have a 07 malibu that is for sale and I have a buyer on that boat. I'm looking for a larger boat that is 23 or 24 feet. I currently have 25,000 cash to put down on the boat and would need the rest to be financed but can not find any bank here that will do it for me since I have to many inquires since I just opened a new business and all the new credit has driven my score down etc. If your willing to finance the rest on a personal note I would be willing to purchase this boat ASAP!

Please let me know if this could be worked out.

                Thanks!

                Shane Alexander

1st one 100% SCAM. They will ask you what you final sale price is and usually they will write in very choppy English and say that they are a very serious buyer. They 2nd one with the guy wanting to pay $25k and have you hold the note doesnt sound like a scam but someone that is buried in debt already!!!
