This is definately a scam. These are on Craigslist every week. Cruise eBay and you'll probably find the same boat there as well.

        it's been flagged for removal....so yea, it's a scam.

Like the 2005 BMW for $11k I inquired about a couple months ago....poor guy was in Germany on military duty and could only use a transport company in LA to ship the car after payment was received.......luckly I was in Orange County at the time and when I told him I'd like to swing by and check it out suddenly I never heard from him again.........

Knowing it was either a scam or a misprint, I emailed the $11k Malibu guy to see what the response would be. Here was his email response!!!!! SCAM!!!

                          Hello,
You made the right choice! My boat is in great shape,no engine problems, damages or hidden defects. It was always garaged and never kept outside. I`m a single father with 2 children because i divorced with my wife and after the divorce i own this boat,i don`t need it and that`s why i`m selling it so cheap. The price is 11,000$.We will use eBay`s protection program for our safety. I just need your full name and address so i can open a case. (with no further obligation or fees).

I was approached with a scam last year when I was selling my M5 BMW. I received an email from a 'serious buyer' saying they wanted my car and asked no questions at all other than where they could send the cashiers check. A few days later I received the cashiers check and looked 100% legit but it was for $5,000 MORE than the sales price. He then asked me to send the $5,000 back to him as he had made a mistake on the payment. I researched this kind of scam and most of them root from Nigeria and they are very common!!!! Their cashiers check is no good and they want YOUR $5,000 or whatever amount they over pay. BEWARE of anything that seems too good to be true of an offer to buy something at full price without getting any details... if so then it is most certainly a scam.
