The owner of Samson towers is related to the owner of Phat Budde. Phat Budde was x-it sports. Nothing shows up anymore when doing a web search for phat budde or x it sports

Doesn't suprise me. I had Phat Budde hydraulic wakeboard racks on my 22V....for ONE DAY!! Stupid things bent all over the place the first wave I hit. Looked like a Wakeboard yardsale on the lake......

Side note- there are two diffenences between the '04 and '05 Marine Power motors put in Tige boats. They went to a darker grey paint color on the motor in '05 and the hp ratings and sticker on the motor was changed from 335 to 340 hp. There is not one internal change between the two years.

I thought Fat Buddie too.
Fat buddie is gone and good riddance. Zero customer support.
Looks like a factory catalog tower if not a fat buddie.

Phat Buddie had the Wakeboard tower end of the business by the sack.

Better customer relations, warmer hearts by the owner', more attention to product improvement and service after sale, and they'd own 75% of the industry today.

They had it by the ballz but made too many enemies and left too many un-happy customers shut out in the cold.

They just could'a had it all.

It was one expensive tower though. There is a thread somewhere on here from 04 when it first came out. It was like a $4500 tower. The only knock on the tower is it is a head banger when getting in from a dock.

Saw this on boat trader online and I absolutely dig the complete set up... Tower, bimini, colors, trailer... Lots of bling! What tower is this?????

This does look lots like the wrangler family boat... We have the extended bimini etc...but the machined upright is a little different from ours... It does look like a Phat Budde Tower ChaChing tower as XP Jim said... We had our cans welded on as well and it mimics our look pretty closely... Take a look in the gallery at our boat...

Jim is right...the only thing I don't like about our tower is the low head clearance coming in from the rear..other than that, I love the look. We still have our hydraulic racks...but I suspect at some point when they die, we wil have to change to something different since Phat Budde is no mo...
