Go for it! I use mine almost exclusively in salt water, and though I have found that not ALL the "hardware" on the boat is stainless, the boat is holding up very well. Do wash your trailer, after you launch and after you pull out, and wash the boat thoroughly and you'll be fine. I always flush the engine as well, I plan on having this rig for a LONG time!
Its a boat - drive it like a mental patient and then care for it afterwards. I agree with the above. Just make sure to flush teh engine for several minutes and was the salt off the exposed metal areas.
I ran for 20 years in the Atlantic ocean and finally, the steering assembly rusted.
I just moved our 21V from Tennessee to Miami and had the same concerns about the salt water. I keep the boat up out of the water on a lift and completely hose all surfaces down after use. Paying particular attention to metal. Then I spray some WD40 on the hinges and metal hardware. I also installed a perko flush kit that I purchased from West Marine for about $70. This allows me to hook up freshwater to the cooling system and flush for about 5 minutes. Its only been about 3 months of 3 times a week use and I have not had any problems. I think the boat is actually looking cleaner because I have become so anal about cleaning it after use.

If you are anal about flushing and cleaning, should be OK. Salt water will kill your trailer, no question. If you are determined to go in the salt regularly, you will eventually have to invest in a galvanized or aluminum trailer.
My neighbor had closed loop cooling installed on his OLD M/C. I don't know the cost or details. Last bit of advice, salt water use will cause a significant hit on resale value, no matter how careful you are with flushing, cleaning, etc.
