I pulled a tube from the pansy pylon and I think I liked it :)
We always use the pylon and have never had a crack, knock on wood. I don't undertand why you ever used the lifting rings in the first place
If you do not tighten it, you will see some cracks. I found a crack on mine, and then tightened the nut. I got probably a revolution and a 1/2 out of it. It felt tight just to grab it, but obviously was not once you consider the force of a tube on the pylon.
Is the tower built to withstand tubing with multiple riders? My son and his bud wanted me to attach up there so they could get more air, but I wasn't sure if that is too much for the tower.

I have pulled three adults from the tower no issues at all no flexing other then normal that I have seen from wakeboarding so I would say it all good.

The subject comes up over and over and most people who seem to be in the know say do not pull tubes from the tower. I do not think the tower was built to withstand the forces that can be generated by a tube. Cracks around the feet of the tower are probably the most likely result.
I use my tower on sometimes, you can get mad air that way. I use they pylon also if not using the tower. I like it, because if you make quick S turns the tube will not turn but it will intersect with the wake head on for serious air.
How can I be racist when all of my assault rifles are black?

I'd be more worried about what would happen if the tube somehow got submerged. If you're turning, it might capsize your boat
