My insurance after our boat sunk....

I got a letter and a check from our insurance company after our boat sunk saying that we were being canceled.(shocking ).

So I called our agent and he said they are just cancelling it because they figured we would not want to pay on a boat we do not have anymore. So they sent me back the rest of the premium.

He said, oh, no we are not cancelling you. Let us know when you get a new one picked out and give us the numbers and we'll wright up another policy.

I thought that was pretty cool. Now I just need a boat

That is a good story. Was the check what you expected?

I hope the new premium is not much larger. If it is, there are a lot of options for you to consider... just do your homework before you go to sign the papers on the new boat.

    GL!

I did not expect a check at all, but it seemed ok. It was only $85.

I think the $85 was the balance of the premium, not what they paid for his boat.

Yes, that is what that was.

I did get a good settlement from it though, paid it off and sent us the rest. for a down a new one.
