The 2007 RZ2 models came out with a 9 inch pedestal. The newer 2008 RZ2's I think were 15 inch pedestals. Not too sure about the 2008 but 2007 I am dead on....

i love it, doesant get soggy and hold water, minimal cleaning... its a great idea, i reckon most ski boats will have them soon.

Absolutely love the seat, especially after 120 hours already this season. Many compliments from everyone I deem worthy of driving. Definitely kicks a$$ on the xstar's seat.

I can see over the dash fine, and I still use the bolster because I like the positioning better on the throttle.

I drove a buddy's VLX recently and hated it, super bow rise and low seat had me using the bolster which only got me high enough to have me looking through the windshield frame and still at the nose of the boat.

we had that problem in the response with the wedge down, you just had to hop u were going in the right direction/nothing was in front of you untill the boat was properly plaining and you could see ahead.

we actually used to sit on cushions we put on the seat so we could sit higher.

Probably the best option upgrade I chose when building my 22Ve. I was a little wishy washy while making the decision, trying to justify the near $500 increase in price just for a seat. While sitting in both seats at the boat show the decision was easy, I like the vision better but would I really appreciate it while busy on the water, the answer is "Yes!" I love it. I am so glad I sucked it up and went with the upgrade. And like others have said, I too am always getting comments about the seat, and anyone who sits in it likes it, "this is better than our seat, they usually say if they also have a boat."

I even had Adam Fields commenting on how he liked it just a few days ago. For those of you who don't know Adam, he is sponsored by Centurion and provided his boats gratis, he finished 7th on the pro tour this summer. Nice to get comments from people at that level of wakeboarding & boating.
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!
