    Enough of the negative...

Thanks for group therapy. I appreciate the advice and condolescenses on my boat issues...just getting it all out there was helpful.

I figured today I would try and cast a more positive mood on the site. Tall is hard enough to work with, I certainly don't want him becoming more depressed!

So here are some photos dedicated to the "why its worth it". These were taken while at Powell last week. The price of a high dollar tow boat - >$50,000, gas bill at Lake Powell $1500, life jackets - wakeboards - tubes - gear - etc >$2000. The price of a new transmission and motor >$8,000. The look on your kid's faces....PRICELESS!!!

The frustrations will come and go but in the end it is worth every penny. My fondest memories when I was young are on the water at Lake Powell. I want my children to share the same....

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

The water weenie is the best towable I have. Worth every penny of $700 I spent...OUCH! It is one of those that is even fun to play on when it is not being towed, you can play king of the mountain on it and flip it upside down, then it becomes a challenge just to sit on it, or be able to climb onto it.
              Be excellent to one another.

There's a mix of cousins in a few of the photos. I have 6 girls...if you count my wife - she is a teenager at heart.

The weenie belongs to my brother-in-law and is about 8 years old with only a few patches. They are virtually indestructible...and believe me we have tried. You may pay less for a tube but it won't last 8 years and isn't half the fun.

I definitely wants to get one of them. They look like a blast!

The two round tubes look like they were a crash up derby.

Here's a few more photos: Enjoy!

The first is my brother - I live vicariously through him. I'm the oldest of 7 brothers and at least half of them can manage the wake better than I can...swallowin my pride.

The last is of my 83 year old grandfather showin off his glass eye.

That wake looks awesome and the little ones are cute as all get out. You have some serious trouble on your hands bud!
