You wouldn't ask a drug dealer how to get off the drugs he was dealing would youTige Throws Mad Wake.

Going back and rereading your post It seems pretty mild now.I guess yesterday after seeing ten threads with people hating tige I jumped the gun a bit.Seeing I don't own a new boat and can't offer a opinion I will stay off your thread.

Let's give Tige a break. They didn't MAKE the transmission--they just spec'd the boat with it. I would measure Tige by what they do to make this right, how they support the dealers who support you, and thier follow through.
Dude, you bought a brand new boat with thousands of moving parts--something is going to go wrong! It's inevitable. It does suck, I'll surely grant you that. Get the minor bugs worked out (which is frustrating) hopefully your driveline will cooperate for years to come, and I'm sure you'll come to think of your boat as a part of your family.
Best of luck!
As a side note: my neighbor bought a 24' Baja a couple weeks ago--1st day out the engine coupler left him dead in the water--it happens
ps. Nautiques are too frickin' ugly to even consider purchasing one

Sorry to hear it man. I actually had a fitting crap out on me 2 weeks ago in my new 24Ve. Oil went everywherr!! Turns out it was just a faulty brass fitting that the oil pressure sending unit screws in to. The mechanic who fixed it is a Supra dealer and he says he sees it quite a bit across all manufacturers boats. Like someone else stated, there are so many parts that make up these boats, anyone of them can be a weak link. Hope it all gets resolved quickly so you can really start to enjoy that boat, because I a positive you will love it!!Last edited by FacePlant; 08-06-2008, 08:26 PM.

Why would I be hanging out on a Tige owner’s forum if I did not own one? I was only looking to hear what others had to say and from everyone but you I got exactly what I looking for. Since you are such an expert with your whapping 50 posts I only have 49 more to go and then I can be just like you

The thread got dug up because Money Pity must have gotten bored digging through the archives and had a response. Now the Money Pity's response has been deleted, but the thread remains 'dug up'.
I read his response, and he was suggesting the guy try another dealer that he had good success with that was also in the midwest.Be excellent to one another.

What about Coach, I bet if he read this he would feel so left out.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

Have them see if they can work on your boat for warranty stuff going forward. They are a lot closer and they are a very customer oriented dealer.
See if they can get Harvey to move your service there.
I think he deleted the one from today because it was answered prevously under one of his aliasesLet it be!!!
