Stereo System Stolen

My system got ripped out of my 2000 21i Tige last week. Showed up at the lake and ....gone!! Really ticks me off. They got two other boats in the same storage area. Have to replace and amp, 12" sub and box, and a Stereo unit. Happened at Lake Brownwood at Mountain View Marina where we store the boat. Happened between Firday to Friday of Last week. Nobody saw anything , even with 10-15 campers within about 50 yards.

Just don't understand why people have to do that. The thieves wouldn't like their chit stolen.. Why take someone else's.

No, it happens even when the economy is good. People just don't respect other peoples property.

No doubt it happens all the time, but it seems to get worse when times get tough. Some people are on the fence, and fall to the wrong side when things get tight.....these people are weak and lazy

Not to shift blame from the thieves, but it is much less likely they will steal stuff if there is no market for it. Remember that "great deal" on craigslist for used stereo equipment? Bingo

Don't buy used stuff unless the seller can produce a receipt or other evidence of ownership.......

I have never used marinas but is the Marina not liable for something like that?
