Video of falling Cliff at Lake Powell

I started another thread, so you wouldn't have to wade through the other thread. Here is the video that I said I would post from our last Lake Powell trip. I wasn't around when it fell, we had left to go wakeboarding up near Good Hope Bay. We ran out of gas right just as this was falling and right at the mouth of the canyon. You can hear my friend trying to get his boat off of the houseboat. The video only shows the last of the fall and she had to cut short the video to get the kids in the houseboat.

Wow. That'd suck to be close!
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

That is why you dont park your boat under or next to the cliffs. People die from this. There was a boat hit las year.

Since somebody died from it, expect a law to be made against going too close to the cliffs at lake powell.

yeah... how big was the wave. It looks like you can just see the start of it. Looks like it was rolling away from teh cliff quickly!

I am still looking for the man on the grassy knoll with the detonator .

You can see a huge wave forming there. Good thing no one was hurt.

After my friend got his boat off and went through the wave, he couldn't see the houseboat. They said that the wave was from 6 - 8 feet. The water line afterwards was definitely over 8 feet. I had no idea an M-80 had that much power

September is the best time to be there. Nobody jumped the wake, but if I was there, I would have surfed it
