Cool looking boat. I have graphite on my boat too. How long is the boating season there?
Can get lucky sometimes and start in April, but typically May to Sept. We try to get the most out of it--I needed my 20-hr service in less than a month! The more annoying thing we deal w/ where I am that u don't have to is how rough the water can get sometimes...we do our boating in the Peconic Bay, which is the body of water in between the 2 forks of Long Island. It is a beautiful area, don't get me wrong, but it really is an art finding flat water at times--can't board when there's a 2ft chop!
How r u guys all making out in this financial mess? Don't know about u all, but I go to work these days wearing a helmet, mouthpiece and 2 cups -- I wear the second one backwards......I pulled up the pics just to try to cheer myself up!
As far as advice for wakeboarding, the flats are harder on the old bones. It takes just a little patience and technique to start with a shorter rope where the wake will be narrower for you, and get your approach speed just right so that you can land on the downhill side of the wake. Once you land in that zone and just slide down into the trough, you will crave it over and over
jbf are the sides black or graphite? I can't really tell but it looks black to me.
sides are black, decking is graphite and hull is pacific blue. really happy w/ how it came out! love the boat -- picked it up in the very end of June and put 60hrs on it from then to Labor Day!
