The power wedge FAE is sure strange looking...Didn't think it could be done.

Yes, I would say about $200 is my "pain threshold." In reality, this is an option. My boat is just fine right now and I don't know what I'm missing. $300 just seems like more than I want to part with voluntarily.

That, and thier ugly.

You'll spend a lot more trying to overcome the decibels your Tige engine cranks out with your stereo. I figured it took an extra pair of 100W+ speakers and appropriate Amps + wires. That's at least $600.

I dunno about you, but the engine noise always sounds the same so I'd rather listen to tunes that I can choose

As for the look, well, I get more interest in my boat with that thing on there than I did without. Seems like most folks wander over to take a look and ask me about it. Then they notice how cool the rest of my boat is.

Bottom line for me (I have over 300 hrs on my FAE) is that it is the second most significant upgrade I did to my Tige after PerfectPass. My tower is 3rd and then my stereo.

As someone pointed out, there is a bit of a steering loss in high speed turns, but I don't do power turns so it's not an issue for me.

Sometimes I miss the rumble of the engine.

There is some extra spray coming up from the FAE. We have a teak deck so it come up from between the boards.

It does seem to have a bit larger rooster tail at 20 mph but does not seem to affect the wake.

Those are the only con's so far.

I also have over 300 hours on my FAE. The best money I spent on my boat. Wouldn't own another boat without one. I wont surf behind a boat without one, because I feel like $hit. That what I think.

How are you. Im good and the family is great. We just got in from going to San Antonio Lake all weekend and we had a blast.
