How much am I able to sell my boat for? goin up for sale 99 2100V limited

Well, we are having a rough time now a days and I use my neighbors boats more than I do mine. Parents hit me today with the news that its time that it would be smart to sell it until we are sure we can actually afford one.

Well heres everything:
99 2100V Limited. I think it has around the mid 270 hour area, ill check tomorow. Just had the back hatches recovered and turned out beautifuly. Interrior is GREAT except for acouple small rips along the top of the seats in the back. Has a Fosgate sound system with a Very good quality High powered Kenwood going to a Fosgate 400.4 amp with a 12" p1 Sub with 2 POWER SERIES Tower speakers (you would be impressed at how loud those little things are lol, ive blown away quite a few systems, just because I set it up right). Has a 350 Mercruiser that has just recently been serviced with new plugs, impellar, clean spark arrestor, new oil. Has functional Taps system. Also added some monster racks on.

Now what I like, I beleive its called a Dorthy trailer ill find out for sure later, anyways Dorthy Dual axle trailer (company that makes semi trailers from what I hear). Probably has to be the best trailer Ive ever had to pull especially doing 80+ lol. Has Good year tires with pleanty of tread left.

Ill have a ton of pictures tomorow as I will start posting it on a few different sites (suggestions appriciated).

A quick search online seems to have them around 19-21k, but a few of the adds were posted in early spring so if you want to unload it quickly you might need to go lower. There were a few more expensive ones as well but those all had fewer hours, which doesn't really mean anything to me, I have 300 on my 2005, but a lot of people seem to think a really low hours boat is better. To me, it means it sat a lot which kills a boat. Good luck.

I totally agree. A boat with some hours on it, in great condition means that the owners used the boat and it runs well. Tough to put hours on a boat that has lots of issues.

That is a very high starting price. My 22v 2004 with all the option has a low retail of 42k plus. I have had it kisted as low as 38k and no takers. It is also in very good cond.

Not really a good time to be sellling if you owe that much. I would be a little surprised if you got more than what you owe--never hurts to ask though, you may find somebody who wants it pretty bad and is willing to pay.

Well turns out I owe 21... If I cant get 23 for it then I think ill just try my best to hang onto it. Its a great boat and never has given me problems.

It is a bad time to be selling a boat, the season is nearly over for some parts of the country and some people have already gotten tired of boating. The economy sucks. I don't think you will get anything close to the 20K range for a 10 year old boat. It was potentially sold in late 1998.

Looks like a beauty though, and appears very clean.

Sell sooner vs later.............

Market is starting to flood with expensive toys and it is going to get worse as time goes on.
