    12v Port--Fuses blown three times

2007 24ve. Each time I have used my (3) 12v acc ports on the dashboard, they have blown the fuse. The 12v port in the glovebox works fine. Once was plugging in a 12v converter, twice was plugging in my tsunami submersible pump for my ballast bags.

The pump works in the glovebox port, but when I put in the ones near the steering wheel, it blows the fuse and kills all 3.

There are 10amp fuses (4 of them) in a box underneath the dash, near the steering column. I have changed fuses, but next time I use it, I have the same issue.

Has anyone had a similar problem, and how did you troubleshoot it?

I had a similar problem and when I put a voltage meter on it I found the positive/negative leads were reversed causing the problem.

Positive and negitive issue for sure. You need to check all that stuff out. If you are not sure find somone who understands electrical to help you out with it. That stuff is very difficult to do with out seeing it and checking it with the proper tools.
