Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Let me guess the bolts backed out on your Walters V drive??????

Yes, but I didn't want to edit my posting since G-Money beat me to a post submission.

i was referred to harvey smith when i called a number from the tige website but only got voicemail. is he the man to talk to or should i speak with someone else?

i had rather wait and talk to tige before i go in to a lot of detail but i will tell you this- i have some major motor damage and it was completely preventable with a minor design change.

thanks in advance for the help.

                    lethalwillie,
I respect the fact that you are trying to resolve issue with tige. However, there are a lot of TIGE owners that may have the same potential problem and I for one would appreciate it if you would let us all know the details so that we can check our boats before we also have any damage.

Is your boat still the 03 22V?
                      Let it be!!!

No offense but if you own a older tige like me your boat is out of warranty and your responsability. If there was a design flaw im sure it would be somewhere on this forum and if it is not you should tell me so I can check my boat before its my responsability.

yes, 22V. let me clarify- not a problem with the v-drive. i meant my "v-drive boat". sorry.

i truly love my tige, but now my summer is over and i am heartbroken. this sucks. i will explain what happened and how i would prevent it soon. i guess i will try mr. smith back. thanks.

I'm taking bets for what Tige willl do for him--any one wanna place a bet call me for up-to-date odds.

Odds as of 12:50pm CST 7/28/08:
                            Nothing 3-10
                            minimal help: 1.5-1
                            full repair: 225-1
                            suggested design improvement: -1

It can not seriously be that huge of a design flaw when thousands of us have nary a problem. I'm bummed for the guy--anything like that sucks huge and is soooo disappointing, however there's a lot more to the story I/m sure.

How old is the boat? What model? How many hours on it? Who services it?......
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Lethal, don't be scared to post your boat problem on this forum, your amongst friends who have a ton of information to share.
