Lethal's issue was taken to Tige before he said anything to us. However, the name of the thread should have said something different but again, Lethal doesn't want to pay for fixing the "feature" and I don't blame Lethal.. I wouldn't want to fix this "feature" either. I would have liked Tige to know what the problem was and see what they would do... Unfortunately, it didn't go the way Lethal wanted it to go if he wanted Tige to pay for it but that is not what I read. He just wanted Tige to be aware of the issue.

That is a TON of water in the boat. I have the same boat and have had lots of water in the bilge a couple times. Once cause it rained about 4 inches in 15 minutes and my bilge pump was plugged with carpet fuzz, and the other time cause one of my ballast pumps cracked off of the manifold and there was just a free flow into the boat. Both times I did not notice immediately that the little light was on on the bilge pump switch so I'm sure the water sloshed plenty, I didn't get any water on top of the engine though. Sorry for the loss, but atleast a chevy 350 is about the least expensive engine to rebuild.

Is the intake on top of the engine?

I agree. I am sure Lethal is not happy that he has to fix this. Adding salt to a wound isn't helping either. Let's provide him some "how-to's" vice adding any fuel to a fire that is already burning.

From my first post: call your dealer (assuming you have one and trust them) and see what they can do for you.

Hydrolock is not the end of anything if there is no actual damage. Hoping for the best!!

BTW, I have similar issues on my boat, except it flows into my bilge through my blower vent. It's really bad when we're surfing. My hull slants such that the transom actually assists this process. I think it's a dumb design. It actually caused my alternator to fail prematurely because of all the water I was taking on. It's even worse when wakesurfing. I actually had to move my bilge pump to suck out while underway.

I did notice on they 2002 21vs that they have the same design. Older Tiges (than mine) had intakes on the windshield. Same on some of the newer ons.

hopefully a bent valve is the most serious part, it isn't no too tough of a fix unless it broke the valve off and it banged around in the cylinder wall before it locked up. lethal have they assessed the damage to the engine yet?

                        Hmmmmmmmm........

I think my Tige riding on asphalt was due to a "design flaw" of the strap......

Wonder if I should talk to Tige

No, you need to contact the trailer manufacturer.

He lost his Tige to the street. It came off the trailer when he was at work. His wife was towing the boat.

Search the website and there is pictures.
