Lethal is doing this the right way. Please let him deal with Tige before he starts talking. IMO, he will be a much better response from Tige this way.

Very true,we won't bash you for posting your problems as long as you don't complain for six months straight.Lots of us own older boats and would like to avoid as many problems as we can.Isn't that what this forum is for?

Yes, but again keeping this between Tige and Lethal is the way to go at this time. Once a solution is solved, the Lethal might be given the go from Tige to announce it. Until then, Lethal will get more solved by staying quiet and talking with Tige at this time.

He could very easily ask the forum if anybody has had the same problem with there boat without blaming Tige for anything and he can still have talks with them....IMO

I just don't see why talking to tige has any merit? The boat has been functioning and out of warranty for some time now.I don't think lethal telling us whats wrong would change anyones view of tige.No manufacture is perfect and knowledge is the key to avoiding these types of problems.

True, but if the problem is "real" Tige will not want to recall all the boats with new ones.

IMO, it's the hull that he is talking about. That is still under warranty.

It's not the hull. It's the motor.. Just re-read the posts... Probably talking about the alignment of the belts????

I am sure when he is ready to post he will. Tige will then do something or nothing for him. They have done nothing for me with my gas issue spilling over and ruining my white trim under my rub rail. But again I have never asked them as of yet.

                      I am getting ready to.

My Andrew Reyes told me that it would be okay over time and I would not have to much more discoloring. Now it is all purple and the rail is shrinking and coming apart. I know TIGE well enough now that I know they will work with me to take care of it. They have a great team of support agents at the factory and there is no question that they will do what they can to help when needed.

                            Sweet!!!!!!!!!!

Harvey is listening! Good to see you are still lurking out there. We know that you are watching, but with only 46 posts, sometimes you never know for sure.

I wish he hadn't started the thread, now I want to know With the title of the thread he got us worked up that it might be something juicy.

But I agree with what has been said. If he hopes for Tige to help him get it fixed, he sure as heck won't get it done by trashing Tige on the web and then asking for Tige's help.

He still could come on and tell us what happened. The problem is that the title of the thread already blames tige for the problem, so he got it started off on the wrong leg to begin with.
                            Be excellent to one another.

I'd like to know once things are talked over with Tige. I remember reading about the Epic boats chine lock problem and thinking how depressed I would have been if I had one of those boats. They did replace every one of the warped boats, and then folded. Oh well, Toyota should stick to what they do best.

Nicelooking boats. I had never heard the Toyota Epic story. It was interesting reading. I wonder what kind of boat they would be putting out today if they had continued?

I also wonder if the newish Epic boats company chose that name on purpose (and whether Toyota abandoned those trademarks). The new Epic is quite a story in itself.
