    Removing Prop?

    Hey everybody,
I'm wondering about a efficent way to get my prop off without a puller? Obviously I do not want to damage the driveshaft, is there any other way to get that thing off or should I just buy the puller? Thanks!

I use a harmonic puller. It looks like a large coupling nut. You tighten it on by hand and back it off about one turn and smack it with a hammer and the prop pops loose. It helps if you have a flat bar of steel to use like a punch to lay flat against the rudder you hammer on the flat stock so you dont hit the rudder or prop.
Harmonic puller works well and cost alot less than a prop puller. Ken
