Why is the '08 RZ2 heavier than the '07 RZ2?

I wouldn't be 110% sure that the number they put up on the Model Specs are entirely correct sometimes. Is that were you are looking???

Example: My 2007 RZ2 can hold 15 per the sticker but the website says 14.

I looked at waterski magazine boat test issues's and the Tigé website for the '08. Difference of 250#'s

From what I see, there a few differences.. Additional cupholders in the aft, the RZ2 on the 2007 were stickers while the 2008 were metal from what I can tell. However, those items are not is going to make up 250#. IMO, additional fiberglass was probably added as reforcements were probably needed.

Wetsounds may weigh more, maybe there is more weight with a PCM engine, maybe one is wet vs dry - all kinds of things could come into play here.
