    2000 Tige 20ci

I am thinking about a purchase of a 2000 Tige 20ci. Could owners please give some info of the pros and cons of this boat. The wife pointed out the cramped foot space in the middle of the back seat. Friends would have to sit way out back. This is a closed bow. She is looking for comfort to socialize with friends. I on the other hand want the boat to mostly ski . We need a boat to do both, should I wait for a bowrider?

Our family purchased our first real tow boat this year. We shopped various makes and models. We all weighed the pros and cons of each. We each brought different likes and dislikes into the discussions about the different boats during this shopping. We finally decided on the 2004 22i Riders Edition and do not regret it. It really is a mutual decision that needs to be made by all members of the family who are going to be using it the most. We all agreed on the usefulness of the boat and if it would fit our needs. If there was any hesitation by any one of us we passed and moved on. As far as if the boat will serve the boating needs only you and your family can answer this. Try it out and see if it fits. For us we had a wonderful dealer and actually never rode in or drove a real tow boat before. We totally relied on our dealer to be honest with us and they came through. Good luck on your decision I am sure you and your family will find the right fit.

That boat is going to be pretty cramped. My advice would be wait and find an open bow boat. They are out there.

Thank you for the replies more are welcome. I live in Maine, inboard ski boats are not as plentifull as in other parts of the country. We did ride in this boat, we did feel like it would be cramped with four or more people. We also thought it would be hard to communicate with people out back. The hard part is the dealer is awesome. He is very accommodating and honest. The boat also is in pristine condition.
Thanks again for the input. It will be a tough decision.

Mainik1 I have a 2001 21i which has enough room for many people in comfort, when I bought my boat I was the only one that was going to ski my sons were already boarding this boat gives you the choice of either with plenty of room and comfort. Good luck in your search you cant go wrong with a Tige.

            new boat

When I was looking at getting my boat, I had all the same questions you have.
I ended getting a Switch V and love it.
With the engine in the back of the boat gives you a lot of moving room.
We live in California, and go to the river a lot.
At the river you spend more time in the boat lounging then the water. ( the room makes it much nicer )
Tige, it's a way of life!
