    Radio AMP

On my 04 21ir, the radio amp keeps blowing due to the dampness inside the storage area. It is very humid in there and the moisture buildup drips onto hte amp. Has anyone had this problem. The dealer states that Tige is aware of this happening. Wondering if anyone has a solution. At least the part was covered under warranty.

Have you thought about putting some stay-dry containers in the storage compartment? I nver had any moisutre problems in my 22V. I keep the stay-dry in the boat when it is stored and it keeps it dry as a bone.

What are stay-dry containers? Do you have a link or image?

if you can, leave your passenger storage door open when in storage, this will keep the humidity out and let the storage (amps etc) dry up as well.

i haven't had that problem and I have four amps in there, two huge one's as well. I do leave it open like jeffro says though during storage. How does it get wet? the only reason mine gets wet is that if my ballast bag leaks(it had a leak in it).

Where is your amp mounted? On the floor or on a upright wall?

Actually, I should of used the proper term of the product, which is "dehumidifier." You can find them at West Marine and other boat stores.
