I would also like to know what people think of the 21v's wake and if they weight the boat in addition to the taps and if the boat has a center ski locker for a center fat sac. any information would be great. I might just be the next tige owner.
Does a 2000 year model 2100v have a wooden floor or fiberglass?

Newbie , on an older tige
Ok, so i took the dive and bought an older (96) used Tige skiboat.
Ive taken it out once, just for a day skiing. Seemed fine, perhaps a tad underpowered , a little rattly. But it seems to run great. Now keep in mind, i have never actually owned a boat......
I am informed that i can switch out the prop, currently a 3 blade 1 1/8 lh 13 x 13 stainless, with a few nicks and chips in it, for a 4 blade and this would most likely smooth out some of the roughness and rattles, Of course, being a newbie, i have no idea who to call, and west marine had nothing available.
I am in the norhtern california (marin county) area. Suggestions on who i could call? Even for repairs and general stuff to improve it? But i would mostly like to switch out the prop......350 chevy i am told, is the engine......

I just bought a refurbished Acme 537 from Prop MD.com for a great price and I love the difference it has made. They were great to deal with also.

also when you get a new one, you can get a lower pitch prob to give you a better holeshot. You will loose a little bit of top speed, but tiges are not meant for top speed anyway. I am supprised that your marina could not help you out. They should be able to get you a new one.Tige Throws Mad Wake.
