You bet wakeboarding and motocross will drain the wallet in a hurry ,but not near as fast as teenage rehab

WHAT!!! You didn't like the 3 foot deep sloans?

The 15 is easy to see through with shades. On my 24ve we did a layer of 15 with a second layer of 20 and it was like someone painted my windshield black. However, it looked sick!

Here's a picture of my 24ve with the super dark tint.

It was a total pain for the tint guy, it took him 4 hours. He couldn't get the very bottom to lay flat. It's really hard for the tint guys to get down by where the dash meets the glass. Everything looks good now, I would definitely do it again.

No pueblo in my boat, not this year any way.
I go down to a small city park that allows boats if you have a permit.
It is very small and gets real crowded. Its to the point that we take turns. Two boats at a time and rotate it out.
Its a pain but I can be off work at 5:00 and be on the water at 5:30 three days a week.'when schedule permits (kids other activities).
When we go for a week end we go to John Martin.
We just got back from Powell on Monday.
That kind of ruins you for any thing else.

                  CO folks,

Has anyone been to Lake Granby or Grand Lake? Any tips or suggestions?

We have some young cousins out for a visit and are camping in Rocky Mountain National Park... we were thinking about taking the boat out somewhere in that area over the weekend...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated... any other lakes to consider?

We went to Cherry Creek today. For some reason, I thought the water would be smooth, but I was reminded why I like Sloans.

Anyways, they are now doing Tiger Mussel inspections, the inspector told me that they just found Quagga Mussels at Lake Granby. I would assume Grand Lake has them two. He also said that Pueblo now has confirmed that it has Tiger Mussels. At first they weren't sure, now they are 100% sure.

This really sucks. I bet within a year or two, all of the public lakes in Colorado will have them. And I don't know how they can stop it. The inspection this guy did, lasted less then 60 seconds. He walked around my boat, rubbed his hand on the bottom on one side, and said it looked good. I can't imagine him finding anything, when they aren't very thorough.

Oh yea, other then Granby now having Quagga's, the water is very cold up there.

hey snook, how many hours you got on that boat now? Are you over 200 or did you break that in its first year?

                            Hey Timmy,

We put 115hr on the boat last year. My wife had a baby girl on June 18! Last weekend was the first time that we got out. But we are planning to be out every weekend until it get cool.

bsnook - Congrats on the baby!! I also wish I had the boat out yesterday, but timing really wasn't that good for us this weekend, so things kinda worked out with the lake being closed. :-)
