    Standley Lake, CO

I was out on Standley Lake last night (7/20, Sunday) and could not believe how many Tiges I saw. At least a dozen in two hours. Pretty awesome. Just curious who all rides there?

I have an '08 Z1, but was riding on my buddies Red '05 24V.

Bill tells me that there are 35 Tige owners on Stanley. That's
    a bunch.

I thought I heard there were even more than that!

Hey Diesel, were you up at Horsetooth on Saturday? I saw your truck but couldn't find you on the water. We camped up there Thur/Fri night and came home at noon on Sat.

Yup, sure was. We were there all day. Boarded earlier on, and then went to one of the coves with some friends that brought their boats and tied up and drank all day. Good times.

How far out did you book your campspot? I'd like to camp up there sometime, but looks like you have to reserve it 2 months out.

There was good water in the morning, we got on the lake at 7:15 am on Sat. We reserved one of the cabins there in late April I believe.

Sounds like you were in Party Cove (N. Eltuck), good times in there!

Did you see the radio station driving around with the 36' Eliminator Eagle? That guy that drives that, Moe, is pretty cool!

No we were in a smaller cove, it has a house up on the hill. We've been in that larger one before, gets pretty insane.

We are out at Standley lake every weekend. Usually on Sundays, seems to be less crowded. This Sunday we were up at Horsetooth for the first time though. Tha's a fun lake, had a great time. Now I have to dry store it for 5 days to put it back in Standley. They have strict rules to follow for the zebra mussels. That would be the only down side to Standley, but it seems most lakes will head in that same direction sooner or later.

We are also one of the Tige’s out at Standley. There are quite a few out there they seem to get a lot of use out of the lake. We live in Westminster so the lake is very close and convenient. If you are out there we are in the red white and blue 22V. We are also planning on going to the Tige party so hopefully we can meet a few more of the Tige owners.

The only guy replying to this thread that qualifies for a Standley pass is Timmy! Everyone else lives way south - DieselPWR stores his boat way south by me, Micah definitely doesn't live up north and Jorgy is in the neighborhood next to me. It's really tough for the people in Thornton to get a pass, let alone all the other weasels. How are all you guys getting Standley passes? I'd like to get one for next year, if they'll let 24's out there.

We thought about applying for one but none of our friends go there so we would wind up back up North anyway. Standley is pretty nice, I did the wakesurfing demo's with Ch 2 and Ch 9 last year with Bill and Corey there and was quite impressed.

Hey Nuck'n Futs, what tint do you have on your window and where did you get it? I'm guessing 20? Do you have any issues looking through it with sunglasses?

Nuckin Futs, I didn't get my boat tagged in time for Standley this weekend so we will be out at Chatfield Sunday. Are you going out this weekend?

I would confirm this with Cory at WWS before getting the tint, but I think it's 15 on the inside. Cory set me up with their tint guy, it was done at WWS in the showroom. The 15 is easy to see through with shades. On my 24ve we did a layer of 15 with a second layer of 20 and it was like someone painted my windshield black. However, it looked sick!

Here's a picture of my 24ve with the super dark tint.

Here's some shots of my RZ4's tint, both look good.

I think we'll be out on Sunday. I know we have a T-Time Saturday at 7:30, then we planned on boating around noon. I would like to go Sunday as well. We'll be over in the east no wake zone, chillin with Holden.

BTW, you and DieselPWR are more than welcome to kick me in the balls and key my car for towing with a range rover. It's seriously looks like were trying so hard to be sweet. We don't deserve to have a wakeboard boat. I might have to borrow one or my brothers diesels, so I don't get beat up.
