The Z1 was made to be a no-frills towboat that could could be loaded up if someone wanted......I'll bet you will see a change in this boat for 2010 or 2011 IMO.

WW user scott a , probably a Malibu owner in denial, pointed out that is was actually the Malibu Corvette boat that first copied Tige's RZ2 scallops. I just wanted to do the right thing and set the record straight

IMO, Tanner didn't start this thread to bash bu for copying Tige on a cool design. It was just to say the BU Owners went on and on and on.... about Tige using a Tower that does look like the one BU uses.

The fact is that BU does not own the design of that tower, BU buys from a separate company.

I am with you on the copying, copy what is good and innovate the rest!

BTW, something Tige should copy is the Supra tower. It's the most functional tower out there and looks really cool to boot. I just love the bimini on it.

Hint, hint...anyone from Tige listening? I bet Supra owners would be far more civil than the Bu Crew or the Mastercrap weenies

O-so-true. There is a right way and a wrong way to do that though--with FACTS and intelligent arguments with clear, defensible points, Not taunting and further conjecture. (not saying you were)

I don't know if this is true or not but I was told by a tige' owner that the guy who founded Tige' used to be a partner with the Mastercrap founder and then left to form Tige'. Anyone know if that is true?
And yeah, for all the WW tuff guys, if they have nothing better to do than talk smack on a forum, enough said, argument over. They are true losers.

If you look closely the is an odd looking metal piece on the bottom of the boat. I did some investigative work and found out that it is a metal known as Nibral(Nickel Brass Aluminum). Come to find out Tiges have had these things undreneath them from the beginning, but not always Nibral.

Thieving copycats.

People take this boat stuff way to seriously. I have my likes and dislikes, but when I am on the water in wakeboard boat, I am like the fat girl at the prom. I am just happy to be there.
