    Need Bimini picture

I am looking for a Bimini for our 08 22ve. I do not like the 08 and how it mounts to the top of the tower. Can someone put up a picture of a 07 in the stored position on a 22ve? I may resort to getting the 07 tige Bimini since locals makers are priced way too high IMO.

And yes I have been told the Tige Bimini is a pain to put up, but really how hard can it be.

Its a pain in the ***, and not only that, it gets all scratched up with the way it works. The worst part, is you have these 4 bolts, that you have to put it and take out to take up and down. We were careful, but I know eventually we would drop one in the water, so we ordered extra. It covers nice, and we actually just left it up even towing. Our drive to lake is 9 miles and we could keep it @ 40mph. But it was so much of a pain, I left up, and drove 40 in a 55 for the last 2 miles instead of taking it up and down. Also, I never did it, my kids did, they are my crew. They hated putting it up and down.

Here are 2 pictures, stored, tower off my boat.

Aside from scratching the tower and bent thumb screws, the position of the poles renders the swivel board racks useless. You might look at http://www.towerbiminis.com/ and http://www.bosswake.com/details.php?...section=bimini. I think they are cheaper also.

        Ragboy,

You need some more towers and speaker cans, you do not have enough.

Thats actually my tower in the samson sports shop after they took it off my boat. Although my old tower and the infinity speakers are still for sale. $1000 only for the tower and bimini, and $1250 for the speakers included.

The '07 bimini is absolutely a pain to put up and down. However, it covers a larger area than most bimini styles when it is up so we wanted to keep it. We keep our boat on a lift in a covered slip so our solution was to take the bimini to a canvas shop and they sewed in zippers. This way we can leave the frame up but take the canvas off for storage. Works great just sux that we have to do it.

My binimi also scratches the tower! I would recommend

Agree that the bimini is hard to put up/down.

I finally brought 4 types of tape with me to the loake--duct, black, green & masking, and put same color on the end of the poles and matched the color on the tower where they mount. Of course, did it wrong first and was even more frustrated, but now we can at least get it up without major cussing. Once up, it is a godsend, but would love to get an easier one.

Here's how my custom bimini looks in the stored position (kind of akward looking):

And here's what it looks like up (~1 minute to put up):
