    PWT Reno

Just a few pics from the PWT stop in Reno today. Horrible day for taking pics. There is still a ton of smoke from all the California fires (still 300 burning). 95+ and hella smokey. Perfect. Got there and snapped a few pics and ran out of battery. At least I got to see a bunch of dudes I don't know ride a lake less than a mile from my house that doesn't allow internal combustion engines. Sweet.

Actually it was pretty cool. A nice little noreasterly came through and knocked some of the smoke back to Cali. Saw some great riding and met some pretty cool people. Anyways...

              What boat pulled the event?
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

Man that thing is sitting low. With that drop nose, hate to see that in any chop.

Ya know that pic shows it sitting pretty high up compared to where it rode most of the day. I know they ride real low anyways, but I think the run quite a bit of nose weight in it. Looks like they keep a bow cover on at all times now. I saw it stuff several times.

Damn. Reminds me of the old centurions, like early 90s I think. I was on mead once, and saw a houseboat towing one behind, the bow dipped down a lot, and they were low. I thought, probably not the best thing up here at mead. We just went right past. It wasn't weighted down or anything. Later we came back buy, about an hour later and there were people on the back of the houseboat staring at a rope going about 45 deg angle down into the water. D'oh!

Looks like a nice event. Matercraft is a nice boat but I won't own one with the bow that low. I bet this weekends event will be like this except TIGE's will be all over the place.

I am sure that they have weighted way down in the front to clean up the wake. You can see how high the swim platform is sticking out that it is not riding level.
