Where and what kind of prop should I buy??? Anyone know whcih prop this is...and is the 537 the way to go? If so Where is the best place to get one and do I need any special tools to remove it and install the new one?

    Thanks for all the help!

That mangled prop of yours looks like a 537.

Nice job on the prop! I am on my 4th repair... Look at repairing it before buying new. See if you can get to a shop that will send your prop for repair... they will likely get it off for you as well. A lot cheaper to go this route ~$100. That prop can be rebend and brazed where necessary.

Awesome pick of the air! Congrats to your son!!

You can get it repaired for a quarter of the price of a new one.

Get a new one & repair that one so you have a spare. You will also need a prop puller. But if it happens on Saturday you wont be screwed for the weekend.

Mine was worse than that and $130 later it returned from Acme in about a week looking just fine. Send it to Acme.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

What happen to your 4 trailer tires? Why did you have to replace it?

                  Were they just old?

eks, we were 10 min from the boat launch and the trailer started shaking, so I pulled over and one of the tires had a big bubble and was missing a piece of tread...this was the second of four to start to fail...so I replaced all 4 and bought a spare that I didn't have! They were just old and had low miles, so they sat alot!

Bummer about the prop and trailer

But sounds like a great weekend regardless of the couple of bump ups

Sorry to hear about all the $$'s going out. Talk with SPBFan about the prop, he can get you a great deal on the Acme.

x2, I'd also check the shaft to make sure it's straight. If you get any vibration, chances are you bent the shaft. If that's the case, you might want to contact your insurance company.
