    Stero Quesion

I was getting ready to go out today andnoticed only my front 2 speakers would work. I checked the fade on the head unit and no sound from the rear speakers or Sub They are all connected to a APX 400 amp. does anyone have any idea on settings I would need to check on the APM?

    Thanks,

I have the XMD1 Calrion head unit. I have an 02 21ir and this looks like it is the orginal system.

Have to check the inputs going to the head unit.

On the amp, make sure you have the rear channel input selector to rear

Any one mess with the amp recently. Another thing to check is when you turn on the system is the green power light on, on the amp

The amp does have a green light on. I made sure the the rear channel inpu is set to rear. not sure what it could be...

No one has been messing with the amp but it is in the storage compartmet. I was wondering if maybe something hit one of the switches. They look right though.

Let me know what you other settings are at. Also let me know the speaker wire connections on the amp. Or if you could post a picture of the speaker wire connections

I PM you my number. Give me a call tomorrow. I know this amp very well. I can walk you through a quick test and you will know if the amp is bad or not. I had my amp burn out twice in two years.

This may have nothing to do with it, but this happened to me and it was when i hooked up my ipod. It ended up being a partially bent prong on the dock connector. The front in boat speakers and the left tower speakers wouldnt play. Worked when i switched ipods.
