OWN, I came back on a Thursday, went to another camp, slept in my own bed on Sat / Sun and went back down on Mon. You will definitely be gone a long time. In regards to catching up......still behind
Matt, I untied the back anchor and uh...... errr..... forgot to untie the front and ran over the rope and chopped it. Team Allen, I was thinking the same thing, we dove for it using a mask but couldn't find it. $100 to replace anchor, chain, and rope.
Dabell, we've always go to Powell several times a year, but used to rotate between camping, hotel and occassional houseboat. Now we own 2 weeks on an older houseboat.
Coach, our youngest is 3 and she does really well--but pretty much lives in a life jacket the whole time. Our 5 year old was running down the dock at the slip with the life jacket in his hand- it caught on a pole and threw him in the water. He dog paddled for a few seconds while his older brother rescued him--still kind of scary.
Gmoney, I can't compete with your subject matters
rogersbm82 - you just made my into my top list of tige owners
Sparky, - my friend luckily had quick release ropes or I would had a Malibu decal stuck to the side of the houseboat!
When you run out of gas, just crank up your Wetsounds and it will push you forward.
And yes, I believe someone was definately watching out for you that day.
I thought of that, but didn't want to knock another cliff down.---I mean my Wetsounds had nothing to do with that cliff fallling and I'm sticking to that story.
Looks like everyone had a great time and learned a thing or two as well. Any time you're out for more then a day people start to appreciate what it takes to own a boat a little bit more.

SURE..........
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

It's so nice to have my 15 year old knowing and wanting to help out on the boat. It is a lot of work when you are doing it all by yourself!
Amazing coincidence that you have perfect before and after pics of the slab that fell. Are you sure you don't have some in between that involved some dynamite?
Awesome pics. Can I be in your scout troop? I thought we were pretty generous because we are taking them out to camp at Lake Powell in August for 3 days. But you take them for a full week and on a houseboat to boot.
The picture of that guy doing a header is priceless.
BTW, WW has had a few threads about the Nautique keyless ignition breaking. It is one of those 'oh wow' kind of things that breaks more often than the old style did.
Nice Pics Moki. Especially the skiing one. So just how white are those legs? From the looks of your tongue hanging out, you must be cutting pretty hard.
Yes, I applied a white shoe polish to my legs to hide my deep rich tropical tan
Tall,
We had an auction to fund our high adventure that was very successful! We had the boys auction off services such as mowing, weeding, aerating, etc. I highly recommend it.
Moki
awesome pics. kind of jealous as Powell is just a dream for us. Need to make it there again. 32 years is a long time to wait. Heck maybe I will get there when the Cubs win the world series
Again thanks for the pics and hope to see you at Mead
