    Docking lights . . . LED ?

I'm looking to put docking lights on my 22ve. However I was looking for something a little brighter than the standard 50 watt lights. I have heard of LED shark eye docking lights for boats but don't know any one who has seen or used them. Are they worth the price differance ? thanks.

What exactly is your goal here? More light while docking?... or more while driving? If it's for driving, forget it. If for trailering, it can help some. I don't think the LED lights will be any brighter than the standard 55W halogens. In fact they might even be dimmer.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

LED lights aren't very bright when it comes to projecting the light long distances like docking, they are only bright to look at... like a trailer bulb or nav lights since the light is so concentrated. Don't get me wrong LED's are great, but not as a flood light, only as an indicator light or interior light IMO.
