yep, we are all goofy. I don't know about the 3 and 5 year old yet, they do not want to try wakeboarding this year.

My kids are younger but love the U shaped ski and tube at this point. By next year my daughter should be ready to try out the wakeboard. We have a group of girls between 8-12 now all boarding all the time. Now I am pulling them all day because all the dad's have custom go fast boats but they want tunes while boarding.

BTW the 2nd pic of the new wakesurfer she is wrapping the handle around her arm! That can turn out badly for her if she falls and it wraps up.
She was just holding the end of the rope in her hand. It was not wrapped around her arm. But I will make sure she does not do that, good catch!

Yes, the 5 year old loves to go fast. The 3 year old loves the tube but on a very slow ride.

It would be pretty hard to have it wrap around like a regular rope given all the braiding.

Cute kids. How crowded was it in warm creek?

We are only 8 days away from our 10 trip. Can't wait.

Lots of house boats trying to dock there... the water was only good around 7:00 pm or 6:00 am

Tons of bugs!! In the morning the boat was covered with the little green bugs, nasty!

We were there on the week of the 4th and it was very busy. Monday the 7th there was hardly any traffic and the water was a lot better.

Towards the weekend we moved closer to the DAM and the traffic was better there, most people are going around the cut off. We had to stay close for we had many people coming and going to the marina.

Gas price at the Marina was 5.35 per gallon. We spent about $800 in gas just in my boat.

We also had a MasterCraft, another $600.

Don't even know what the House boat cost was yet.

Great pictures and I'm sure the memories are amazing... Don't stress the gas cost...they will only be this age once... It goes way too fast and then the kids are up and on their own...Enjoy!!!

                        Strong work there, EKS!!!!

Looks like a good time was had by all.

We did not see hardly any bugs there in Mid June. Usually not a problem at Lake Powell.

We pull our boats out of the water and fill them up in Page. We try to beach our houseboat away from all of the plants that has helped with the bug problem.

We have to take the good with the bad, when the cut wasn't open, warm creek was virtually deserted. Now with the water rising back up, more people will be returning. ugh.
