Ok Ok... I'm here... Just really busy with work lately...

rushin' it sux about your boat... It's a very surreal experience... I know it's not funny now but I look back and laugh at it now... I also have a GREAT story to tell people as well...

(BTW - I'm reading all these threads and reading all the jokes at my expense and I'm laughing...)

Sorry to hear about your boat but glad no one was hurt. The i drives definitely nose dive like crazy from what I have seen. My buddy originally bought a 22i and would bury the nose all the time. Freaked me out. The V drives definitely have a thicker, higher deck and are much less susceptible to this kind of thing. Good luck with everything!

I've never had an issue with State Farm. The rates are reasonably competitive and my best bud is my agent. My claims have all be paid promptly.

Oh don't you worry LB, once we let the shock and disappointment wear off of Rushin he's gonna get some ribbing too No one is exempt from a wise crack.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Was there even attempt at a recovery (of the engine at least)?
            We recovered the whole boat.

A lot more than a few steps are needed in this case. First you have the travel time back to the place of repair. Second you have all the electronics which are toast. Then you have 8 $150.00 injectors which are toast. and then you have dirt, mud, sand ect that floated its way into the intake. Yes I have to say the Engine, Trans, and V-Drive are toast.

The engine is being replaced, not sure what the plan is for the tranny and no v-drive to worry about in a 22i

So, they didn't total your boat apparently.

Interesting! Hope it works out for the best. make sure that they include all your gear too including the connely F1 that must have floated away.

                  j/k

Glad to hear that things are moving forward for you and I am actually really surprised that they didn't total it right off the bat - seems like that has been the case for others that had sunken boats.

How did you guys get your boat to shore?

It was pulled in closer to shore and then pulled up the bow and started bailing water

                      Engine bad

I am surprised the engine is bad. Was it running when it sank? I was in a malibu response that completely sank. WE bailed all the water out. Changed the engine oil and transmission oil twice and now she runs like a champ, minus the electrical gremlins that seem to come and go.

Oh that sucks bro. I'm assuming you were at Warriors? Worst ramp ever. That lake has claimed many a craft from "spot" storms. They pop up out of nowhere and hit HARD. The place can litteraly go from glass to 3ft soup in less than 5 minutes. My old truck has only been hit once and that was by a boat at Pyramid. Same kind of storm and the guy figured that it would be easier to beach it rather than pull it up off the bottom of the lake. Overshot it just a bit and hit the truck.

I once spent 3 hours in a tent one afternoon at Pyramid just to keep it and all my stuff from flying away. Just me and a bottle of Jack with a tent wrapped around me. YeeHaw!

Let me know if there is anything I can do. I'll be over at CB&M on Monday putting new bunks on the trailer, so if you need pics or, well whatever, don't hesitate to ask.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

No, it was at Pelican. Adjuster already did pics, it looks just fine. It is just sitting there as they do the estimate. CB&M is closed on monday or are they opening up for you?

The wind sent a tube attatched to a PWC anchor that was on the beach sailing and the anchor went through a truck window.
