Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

That's really bad. Glad everyone was ok.

That's a good reminder for me to educate my young boat driver on what to do when this happens. I have the extra Tsunami's on board, but I haven't actually reviewed what we should do when this happens. I know what I'd do, but that's of little consequence when you're on shore watching something like this transpire.

Back on topic, I hope there's a silver lining for you here.

What kind of insurance did you have? Ski-Safe seems to have treated Lunchbox really well. I just switched to Progressive this year (way cheaper and more coverage) so keep us posted on how your Ins. Co treats you.

Sorry to hear about the boat! If I was in that situation I am not sure who I would root for to make it through--the boat or my wife.

JUST KIDDING!!!! My wife of course.Probably...

Who ever LB had settled real quick and then dropped him like an ugly date at the DairyQueen, politely told him they did not want his business back on the new one.

That is what happens with small companies. I bet Progressive would do the same thing. I shopped all of them again this year. Allstate and State Farm had what I thought to be the best plan and if you make a claim they don't drop you. They just raise your rates.

I have American Family. They have been quick so far. Within a couple of hours of making the claim an adjuster called me.

I have been wondering what is going to happen with our coverage now.

Was there even attempt at a recovery (of the engine at least)?

Always amazes me that such a pricey commodity is just left to become worthless when a few steps is all that is needed.

I don't think we have heard the final outcome of this situation but either way it is more then a few steps to salvage.

They drop you, or they don't drop you? they don't raise your rates. Or they do raise rates. Explain a little more cause I am confused now.

A lot more than a few steps are needed in this case. First you have the travel time back to the place of repair. Second you have all the electronics which are toast. Then you have 8 $150.00 injectors which are toast. and then you have dirt, mud, sand ect that floated its way into the intake. Yes I have to say the Engine, Trans, and V-Drive are toast.
