need advice on buying 2004 24v ltd

This is just my opinion, but a used boat has to be 7-10k less than what you could buy a new boat for of the same type. I bought my 24Ve brand new for 57,900, and not in this market. I would expect to pay very low 50s easy now. And if you were buying new, you wouldn't buy used to save $3k or so, at least I wouldn't, unless it had some killer option like 30 sec 2k ballast or something. ;-)

Good lord. I paid 45k for my 2005 22V NEW. Every option (tower of power, PP, etc..) other than the 6.0 engine which I didn't want anyway.

Don't forget that NADA doesn't include the trailer, you have to price that out separately because not everyone wants/needs a trailer...had many arguments over that while trying to sell my old boat.

DING DING DING .... I've seen that too! What's funny is certain boats NADA includes it automatically... like Supra's and CC I've noticed.

I think that the supply will shrink (I don't see any dealers now just ordering boats to keep on the lot) and therefore the supply and demand balance will be restored and the new boats are going to be as expensive as ever. Especially with the %9 increase that we have heard the dealers are going to experience.

Nope and mine will look like a bargain at that time. Maybe I should increase my amount once the dealer runs out of the 2007 and 2008 boats.

Apparently LOTS of dealers had an AWESOME Weekend in terms of sales this weekend! I know my dealer sold EVERY boat he had available on the lot this weekend. I heard the same from a few other dealers. Now they are scrambling for inventory.

The dealer I bought my boat from has until 5pm friday to sell his remaining boats (new dealer has already been chosen). His add says highest offer over invoice takes them. I believe he still has;

3 07 RZ2's
2 08 RZ4's
1 08 24ve
1 08 22ve
5 08 Z1's
2 08 20v's

Not sure what will happen to the boats after Friday, maybe go to the new dealer? but not sure the new dealer wants the old stock.
