need advice on buying 2004 24v ltd

Looking at a used 2004 24v ltd. It has the 6.0l 375hp, tower of power stereo, ballast tanks, taps2, tower/lights, bimini top and wakeboardpro cruise. It has right at 100hrs on it. It looks to be in good condition. According to nada.com it is worth $40k low and $45.5k average. What would be a fair price for this boat? Anything to watch for with this model? What is the difference between riders edition and ltd edition? It will be my first vdrive if I buy it. It is in WY.
    Thanks.

Welcome to the site! It sounds like it is loaded with all the goodies.

I don't know much about that specific model, so I will let others handle that one. I think the difference with the Rider's Edition and the Limited Edition is just the graphics on the side.

Are you in WY as well? There are a few others selling their V-drive's as well.

Good luck with your decision. Others will follow with more answers. Let us know how it turns out.

I would stick on the lower end of the pricing guidlines. Its a buyer's market.

I would sell you mine for 45K being a 2005 with serious stereo and ballast. Mine has 280 hours and is very well maintained. I have the 340 HP engine.

SO I agree that if you pay 45K, for a 2004 without some of the other goodies, you are paying too much. I would offer 39K.
          Be excellent to one another.

So, you are saying that your boat is for sale now?

Ya if some one gives him 45k for it......

I think 45K would be close enough so that I could fork over enough to get a new RZ2. But I think that is how much I have to get. Depends on what my dealer quotes me for a new one. If the new one is too pricey, I would have to get more, which might be pretty unrealistic. I hope to get a quote this week, then I will see how much I have to get in order to bridge the gap from old to new.

                DA,
you still don't feel you miss the room going from a 24Ve to an RZ2? That is what I am looking at doing also.

I definitely do not miss the room. The RZ2 only allows for 1 less passenger. The 24Ve's length is much narrower than the RZ2. That is where the RZ2 seems to be making up for space that the 24Ve has.

Tall, not to mention the turning on the RZ2 is ALOT better than the 24Ve. The RZ2 is like a Ford Mustang and the 24Ve is a Ford Expedition when it comes to performance.

                      Tall,

Are you going to have a Samson Switchblade tower installed?

For that price you should just talk to me about my 06 24V that's for sale with only 75 hours!

And I'll bring it to you!.... lol

                          Tanner,
You still have that thing? What are you asking 45K? Dose it still have those Fusions too?

The fact that everyone is fighting to sell their boats should tell you something. There are very few buyers out there and lots of sellers. This is a GREAT time to buy a boat. You could find a newer 24Ve for under 45k. I wouldn't pay more than like $38k for a 24v in this market. Just show up with the cash, someone will take it.

I hope that the price you are quoting is for the 24Ve boat only.
