Seat covering warrenty
I am the original owner of a 2000 21V Limited. Some of the seats in my boat have split open this season. How long will Tige warrenty this, and who should I contact. Can I go Factory direct? I am very far from two dealers(many hours), and in the past have delt direct. For some reason, no one at Tige will return my calls. They keep sending me brosures for new boats. Dose this mean thte warrenty provides a new Boat?? Please advise----I am in the Monterey area of California.

I have a 1999 2200V and my seats began to split at the seams two years ago. I contacted Tige about the problem and they told me the seats only have a one year warranty. I went to a local upholstery shop and had all my rear seats recovered. This year my dog tore my sun deck top so I had to take it in and have it recovered too. -
About how much did that cost (if you dont mind me aking)? I've got an 02 21V and the seats are splitting. Seems like that is a common problem.Comment

I had all the bottom cushions( the seats behind the windsheild) redone at one time and that set me back about $450.00. Then I had the back sundeck redone and one of the rear-side cushions(from sundeck to ski locker) redone and that cost me another $400.00.
The guy at the upholstery shop told me that the way my original seats were stiched and the design of the seat itself is what led to the early degredation of the seats. He also said that this would be a continual problem even after he recovered them because of the design.Comment
