    Tubin

I know everyone has there opinions on tubing. My kids like to haul the tube out every once in awhile. We have a HO GT3 tube which is pretty big.It is a pain in the a$$ in my opinion. If you do have a tube what do you do with it when out on the H2O. I have resorted to locking it up to my trailer and getting it when needed. I saw some guys throwing theres on top of there Bimimi-up front as to not affect the wakeboarding. We have an 07 20v so not sure if this is a good idea strength wise. I think I am stuck with this tube issue so just trying to get some options. Thanks

you could always get an air pump that plugs in to your 12v outlet and just deflate it and put it into a storage compartment when you're not using it.

I keep 1 or 2 tubes (connelly convertibles) on the boat depending on the number of people we have. They stay deflated under the bow cushion until tubing time. Kids inflate the tubes with portable air pump while I float and cool off. When tubing is done they deflate and put back under the bow cushion.
      Let it be!!!

The big problem with this is that it takes 20 minutes to inflate and deflate. We leave the tube on shore and only take it out when needed.

Thats when I get to rest. Ussualy when we deflate means the day is over. They deflate when we are heading back to launch ramp.

We do not go to shore anymore as that is where all the brain eating ameobas are hanging out.

We have them deflated in the boat and only inflate them when they are needed. That is usually the last few sessions of the boating day.

I've got some nice extra space behind the drivers seat and next to the engine. It works on my "i" but wouldn't work on you "v". That said, we deflate it for the ride in the truck to/from the water. My son uses a foot pump and can fill it in about 5 minutes.

I've learned to tell my kids "no tubing!". I got them hooked on wakesurfing instead.

I usually just hook it through the rope eye on the back of the boat right where the rope connects to the tube. I just through the extra rope either back in the tube or under the back seat. It gets to be a pain when you are getting in and out of the boat cause it's right on the swim deck but it easily moves to the side. I have also seen people if they are staying in one particular area of the lake for all water sports, I have seen them connect the anchor to the tube and just let it float in the water until they need it. They just stay close to it while skiing, wakeboarding ect.

I've done that with my anchor also... Works like a charm.

Thanks for the info. I have tried this as we all wakesurf and wakeboard but my daughter insists on gettin her tubin in. Does anybody put it on there bimimi? I am just not sure if it is strong enough as the 3 man tube is pretty big.

3 person tube???? That is almost as big as my 24Ve... j/k

I wouldn't put that up on the bimini. If you have Tige's bimini, I am not entirely sure that it will hold up there very well.

It's easier for me since my kids are older now and I just tell them that tubing is for little kids and older dorks.

You probably don't want to tell your daughter that or you might get slapped upside the head by your wife

We have a Super Mable, a 3 person MONSTER, so I'm actually in the exact same boat as you Bibbs. (no pun intended) I was actually looking on Ebay just before I read this for 2 smaller tubes. We mostly tube on the smaller lakes so when the kids come I stuff the monster into the v drvive storage and it takes the entire locker! We'll inflate it with a cordless pump, then I'll huck it into the water attached to my anchor. When we want it we just go grab it. Sometimes at the end of the day instead of deflating we tie it to the sunpad and it's as wide as the boat. It's a PITA. If we lived on the water it would be ok, but transporting a 3 person tube is not fun.

I like tubing w/ the boys, being rowdy, jumping from tube-to-tube, and knocking each other off. It's great when you're too drunk to ski or wake .
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
