LovinPowell were you out to Qauil this morning?

Matt says that he will have my boat back to me before our powell trip, so we haven't even talked about other options. I asked him about keeping the boat and running it until they get another engine or until after the powell trip, but he advised against it, he didnt want it stranding us out on the lake.

          That is good to hear.

I was at Quail yesterday, water was up to 79 degrees and there actually were not too many wallys.
          Be excellent to one another.

I am sure Matt will get it taken care of. I read about all your guys problems and I need to knock on wood I have not yet had a problem with my PCM. Knowing my luck something will go wrong in the middle of Lake Mead at the reunion. .

Yes, we were out there at around 7:00 am, we stayed out until around 10:30. There was another Tige out there as well, the yellow and white one with the big black Pirate flag. Were you on that boat?

Didn't like the wind too much, but the overcast skies kept it nice temperature wise. I especially like all the boats that come out early for tubing.

I heard that you also went to in-n-out burger (yes, we have one in St. George, the first one in Utah), and took up four parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. Saw it on the news last night, "raisin cain" was the name of the boat.

I'll still keep coming up with "crazy" ideas just in case.

yeah I was on the pirate boat. Before I got to know johnny on the pirate boat we use to call them the smelly pirate hookers, and he named me slalom guy. We use to see each other at the lake all the time.

Yeah that breaze kept it from being a really great day, but we still had a good time.

An update on my motor issue, It took a month to get my boat back, but marine power finally sent a long block and the dealer worked his but off to get it to me in time for the lake powell trip.

The trip went really great, we spent six days out there. The motor ran good, but I am still having problems with the computer. The speed set doesn't always catch like it should, and some times it resets itself and every so often when I put the throttlle in gear there is no response, forward or reverse, the only way I have been able to get it working is by turning off the engine and restarting it. I am so tired of this issue, I have had this problem for over a year now. The boat has been in the shop over a half dozen times and still not fixed.

Dealer came to my house the day after I got back from Powell to pick up the boat to fix it. He said that hopefully the fix for the boat is a reflash to the ECM.

This is so Frustrating to me, last year I put 115 hours on my boat from may to november, and this year only 27 hours and 15 of them were last week at powell. The boat has spent more time in the shop than at my house, let alone at the lake.

I would start talks with the dealer about trading it in and getting into a different boat. IMO when problems persist it is better just to get rid of the boat and start over. Maybe a lemon law case??

                                that stinks.

Sounds like your boat runs on Windows.
