Cool pics! I'm guessing you took these with a DSLR of some sort?

Still need ballast to get our fat asses moving. I just can't seem to find a good pocket without going out the back when I let go.

Ya I just picked up a Nikon D60 for Fathers Day. It was a Costco Deal. It came with 2 lens which is good because I end up using the 55-200 all of the time vs the 18-55 lens.

Speed was 11.4 and taps at 4.5 weight was 5 guys all over 230 lbs. I really want to get a ballast system to pump up the wake. Plus where we ride it is only 9-15 ft deep so we don't get a nice of a wake as when I am on deeper water.

I see. Since I am goofy footed. Here is my setup.

Factory ballast full, rear starboard sac with about 550 lbs, then all aldults/kids to one side as much as possible. If no kids or adults then I just fill my 440 on the starboard seat. Taps at 5, speed at 10.6. That seems to create a good size and has a decent length.

10.6 always seems to create a good wave no matter what ballast configuration we have. We can fine tune it depending on the amount of people and ballast but 10.6 is a guaranteed fun and surfable wave on my boat. When you get up in to the 11's the height goes down by a good 25% for another 1-2' of pocket length (maybe).

10.6 is what I was doing before with taps at 5.5 and it did seem to be a bigger wake. It felt slow to some of the guys and so we tried to speed it up to see if it would help. I think 10.6 is the best number after try a few different set ups. Now I just need some weight.
