    1994 2000 SLM COMP

Is anyone familiar with this year and Model? I bought it from a friend who used it about 2 times a year so he sold it to me. It has alittle over 400 hours on it. It had some bad oxidation on the outside because he had to move it out of the garage, but I polished it about twice and then applied the ole carnuba wax and it looks pretty good. The motor is spotless and runs great. The seats were cracked so I am having them reupholstered and they should be done this weekend. It has a tower on it and it did not have a stereo from the factory so we are having one installed in the drybox. I got a really good deal on the boat and I have had a blast out of it. I was just wondering if anyone else had any knowledge on this boat. Thanks

I will post some pics when I get the seats back.......

Post some pics, you may be the owner of the oldest Tige!

Before we upgraded to our '07 22Vé we had a '95 2002 flsm and it was a GREAT boat. We had it for 12 years and never had a single problem with it other than the impeller going out on us once on the lake because we didn't change it for a few summers. Like your boat, we added a tower and some speakers to it. Had it weighed down with the Launch Pad Fat Sofa and it produced a damn good wakeboarding wake and a decent surf wake. Post pics when you get them! If I'm not mistaken '94 was the first production year for Tigé. Welcome!

Congrats on the purchase, I believe that I have the same boat which is the last of those series (PRE2000) built in 98. This is a great boat for boarding but the wake size is pretty much limited by the lack of freeboard these boats have available. Over here in New Zealand I have found that they tend to like a 50/50 weight distribution so we run 2 x 200ltr sacks each side of the engine covers and 200kgs of lead behind the front seat and in the drivers foot-well. We have found that the wake is awesome (24mph @ 80ft) with 8 peps on board but we need to run the trim plate or TAPs on my model right down to stop the wake from washing over.

We just purchased a '94 2000 BF Comp this spring. I think the exact same boat, but ours has the 454 EFI engine. We added a pylon extension pole and that's it. We are absolutely loving the boat! No problems at all so far except for some new trailer tires and a couple spots where the seat seams are starting to split. Ours had 371 hours on it when we purchased in April from the original owner. Do love the sweet '90s pink stripe and matching pink striped bimini top!

I had a 95 closed bow for 12 years. I sold Tige's for five years and sold maybe 10 of them. Mine was a tractor that had over 1100 hours on it when I traded it in... i wish I had it back.

When I had mine, I stripped the traction strips on the bow off and buffed it clean.. made for a nice clean look... a little slippery tho.
