I am with XP no jumping off the platform and heavy loads need to sit over the brackets.

We've had 3-4 grown peep on ours and never much worried.......my self and my son = 425#'s

actually if it is the brackets you are worried about breaking and not the platform itself, then i sugguest sitting towards the middle so that the weight is spread over two brackets and not concentrated on 1
does that mean you have to sit over the brackets???? :P jk
I never sit on my platform. When I climb back in the boat I always use the well suppported sections Lead by example and when that does not work I pull out I am the captain of the boat
