The economy is terrible. We can admit that and I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to sell my boat this year. So, I will own two boats for the next year. But, the 24Ve is not wanting to sit here for sure.

So do you have room under your carport for both boats? You might as well use the 24Ve once in a while whike waiting for a lead. Heck have someone make you a "for sale" flag to fly off the tower Some one might spot on the lake or river and bite on it. Ya never know.

It will fit for sure but not the ideal place... I would rather the dealer keep it on their lot. They will as long as I am selling it... They did agree with that one.. Wonder if I can have them pull the boat into the warehouse...

Just saw an interesting story on ABC Nightly News about how the price of diesel is less than half of what it is here in the states down in Mexico...just across the border. People are putting mods on their trucks to add extra fuel capacity so they can fill up less.

So, I think we're getting hosed.

By our Gov, our GreenPeace people and the environmental people. From what I have read we have untapped energy sources and other fuel alternatives that they just don't put online.

E85 fuel can only be found at 4 locations within 25 miles from my home. It is just sad. Paying them not to farm and we have an alternative from crops that could be grown.

Yes but the price of farming goes up also. Those costs are relayed to increase in food costs... Then we take in in the arse.

I hope the feds raise the interest rate by a full point at the next meeting. That will hurt short term, but within 2 weeks things would get way better as the dollar begins to strengthen again. Lowering the rate has really screwed the people. It was a bank bailout IMO.

E85 has a much lower BTU content and therefore you need to consume a lot more to do the same amount of work. You can't run the boat on E85 anyways and if you read the "Manual" you really should not be running any alcohol type fuel at all. Tige has never, at least not to my knowledge, come out and said its o.k. to run the present blend of ethanol (E10) in the boats.

Somehow signals got crossed. E85 was only for my Tahoe not the boat. Towing the boat with it i lost 1-2 MPG. At $1.00 a gallon less cost I can live with the need to burn more E85

We can thank our congressional legislators for that and Bill Clinton. Makes me wonder what he was smoking. Let's see now, we have an ever expanding economy and a dependency on foreign oil. If we limit domestic production, we can make the environment better. Kinda reminds me of a Robin Williams skit where he asks what a certain deity was smoking when he created the platypus.

It's a good thing Al Gore didn't really invent the internet because it would be backwards, too.

yeah my boss...a bank CEO...said that the fed is predicting about 200 banks to fold by the end of the year. There hasn't been a single one in quite a few years and there are 20 so far this year. banks folding up isn't good for the people either.
