Check out this map. Over half the area is under at least precautionary evac, with much under immediate threat. Over 50 homes lost in concow today. Somehow my home is still not in the threat area, so ok, but alot of friends and family displaced.

Man, that sucks. It doesn't look like there's a lot of relief on the way in terms of rain either. We'll keep thinkin' about you.

        Rain???? What is that???? j/k

Yes, you are right Dog. Everything up here is so dry that it doesn't take much to get any fires started. I am glad that the 4th of July went okay without any major fires starting because of the fireworks but again, I am not keeping track of the fires like Ragboy.

Ragboy, prayer of relief and that you are not put into harms way is being said.

It seems that the fires are getting bigger and combining quickly.

still ok, now it sounds like a warzone. Smoke has cleared some and a bunch of helicopters are going nuts. A bunch of homes have burned in concow, but so far none in paradise/magalia. Even my marina is in the evacuation area, so I couldn't go to the lake if I wanted to.

I made a map, so you can see where the main fire line is and where I am. The other map is made by the paper, and shows the whole area and the evac areas.

I noticed the scale on the map legend is only 2k ft! That puts you barely over a mile from the madness!? I hope everything calms down soon. I won't complain about my basement flooding anymore.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Don't need that. That would be considered a waste disposal issue. We have laws about that Actually, we have too many laws about that.

Still ok over here, but nothing has changed. They will either get a handle on it, or the winds will kick up and do some bad stuff. Still at least today of red flag conditions.
