More Fires

So we have had had more fires all around us from tons of dry lightning strikes. My parents live close, on the other side of the ridge, and the fire is very close to them, just on the other side of a creek, less than a mile. They are parking a bunch of stuff at my house, and ready to evacuate. Crazy summer.

We went camping last weekend up at Union Valley (between South Lake Tahoe and Sacramento) and got caught in a small rain and lightning storm. Lots of strikes and I think there was a fire that the Fire Department was trying to control on the way home. It's going to be a TERRIBLE summer season for fires.

Hope that your parents are safe. They will be in my prays.

Wow this is a time in life you have not said prayers lately you need to start. We are in serious need of some of the mid west water and they need to get rid of some of it. I sure hope this year is a change of weather patterns for us? I hope your family is OK through all this Ragboy.

And remember, I live in Magalia, and my warehouse is in Paradise. My parents have been on the edge of evacuation for 2 days, they live on the east side of magalia, with the west branch fire right below them in the canyon. Now we have the Breakneck fire causing problems up by sterling city, north of us, they just sent 2 strike teams up there. Crazy stuff. I guess no lake this week.

That smoke is down in Sacramento and the visability is 3 miles right now.

There are over 800 forest fires in California right now.

Another day, more craziness. So many fires, that they don't have enough resources to put hardly any out, just keep em at bay as best they can. Here is a map of all big fires in state, its nuts.

They have over 150 engines down the hill at the chico fairgrounds, and 70 engines in our little town of Magalia alone. Nuts.

Man, ash is everywhere, no lake this week.

We all need to pray for the flood and fire victims. I am sure this kind of uncommon weather patterns are only going to get worse. this goes to show the true power of the creator of this world and many others. My prayer go out to those in need now and in the future. I can not hardly breath here in Bakersfield from the smoke and my eyes are burning on a daily basis. The best thing I can do for them not to burn is close them. I can't imagine what it is like further north of here.

I hope that Northern CA above San Jose gets some rain soon. Obviously you don't need t-storms but plain old solid rain like we are going to get again yet this weekend.
