    Formal introduction

I have wanted to post a few pics for a couple weeks now with a few details about my family and our boat but have not found the time. Many of you have been a great resource with my questions about a broken board rack and ballast despite my anonymity...for which I am grateful.

    A little about ourselves:
We live in St George, Utah. Larry Cain (TallTigeGuy) is one of my partners and also one of the reasons I own a Tige. I spent 7 years with the Navy before moving here almost 3 years ago. We were stationed in Oceanside, CA at Camp Pendleton for 4 years and Guam for 3 years. I have 5 incredible daughters and my wife is active, adventurous, and athletic. I always refer to our marriage as "dumb luck" - she was "dumb" and I was "lucky". I definitely married up!

Here are a few photos of introduction:

    Set-up
Showing off the 340 horses to my father-in-law

Welcome to the site. Your a fast learner with the pictures! Tall taught you well.

Love the wheels on the trailer.

I live next to Camp Pendleton. Some of the best ocean surfing in the world behind some of those gates. Thank you for your service to our country! I am guessing from your screen name you were a diver? Tell us more.

The Trailer definitely has some "bling". It's one of EZloaders custom trailers called the "Illusion". I bought the boat from my brother in Pheonix. The new owner of the dealership was sellin his bigger Tige's on the upgraded trailer. I hear he actually went back to a more standard trailer because some people didn't have the over-head clearance required with the 20" wheels. You do have to be careful to avoid the curbs when turning corners. Not a lot of forgiveness in the lower profile side-walls.

Love the Denali! Not the best on gas but its pretty hard to find something to pull a boat and carry family and gear that is. The self-leveling shocks in the back and extra horsepower of the 6.0 (325hp) have exceeded expectations. All my brothers pull their boats with Excursions with the Powestroke diesel and I was worried I would need to do the same but this has been more than adequate...and I don't have to listen to my wife complain about how she can't park it anywhere. I will buy another Denali when we get rid of this one.

The Navy was an incredible professional and cultural experience. I was on scholarship for medical school but looking back would have happily paid them for the training and opportunities. I appreciate my family's stability now but miss wearing the uniform.

Picked up diving in Guam and logged 150 dives there before we left. My wife and two older daughters are certified so it has become a family affair. We owned a 14 foot Zociac and with a couple of $4 tanks we could be on the dive site and rollin off the boat in less than 30-45 minutes. When it's good...and that easy its hard not to get hooked.

Guam is also in close proximity to some of the best "hands down no" diving in the world. We hit the Great Barrier reef a couple of times, as well as Palau, Truk Lagoon, Yap, Bali, Pohnpei, and Majuro. I grew up in Idaho and thought I would always need the mountains and snow but I was mistaken...give me beach and 100 feet of visibility and I am good.

Good to have you here!!!!!!!!!! Sweet pics.

It is a sweet boat, the mushroom interior is very classy. The best 'Gee Whiz' option on the boat is the automatic flag button. You hit a little button next to the throttle and 'Blam' a flag pops out of that long tube you see on the tower on the starboard side. You hit the button again and the flag spins in and disappears.
                            Be excellent to one another.
