Just by guesstimating how many windshield heights would fit under the tower, it looks like the new tower is significantly shorter than the Samson. Just speculating, but hopefully they will let you crawl around inside the boats soon! I would think with the bimini deployed, it may actually be higher than the Samson with its bimini depolyed.

From my observations today I have learned this:

      1. Hulls are unchanged
      2. Only one exhaust port for RZ's (not sure what motor is in)
      3. Interior seems to be stepped up with dash and seats
      4. Most of the graphics are stickers
      5. Motor is alot quiter
      6. The tow boat had stock ballast plus fat sacs (it was sunk low)
      7. Never found a 22ve or a 20 v (they did have those in 08 models)

I am still dissapointed in the tower just not my style, I do think the bimini is cool though. I was also dissapointed that there were no Tige reps around to ask questions, but maybe thats just because it was a qualifing day and it was a very low turn out dispite sunny skies and temps in the 80's.

      I can't wait for tomorrow.

Clearly you and I need to beta test one of these babies for the summer. In return, we'll be sure to provide Tige with the best feedback possible

          Tanner,

I could not get close enough but from what I could tell they are not cut outs it was the black vinyl of the seat.

That pic is the RZ dash. Z1 remains the same for 09

Either that or the trash can someone mentioned. After further inspection of the 22Ve pic and the 24Ve pic, it's only on the starboard side. And the orange 24Ve didn't have any black vinyl. Interesting.

                    Majestic,

I got a flyer from Stayton Motorsports for $2 bucks off ticket prices. I read further and noticed they won't allow coolers or food in the area. WTF? I need cold beer and food. If I go I am smuggling in rum and buying diet coke.

I got my ticket in the mail from Tige.

                          Why diet coke?

I will spend some more time watching the riders tomorrow, besides my 08 is still sharper looking then anything I seen today

The tower sure does look easier to fold down than anything in the past. I like the simple and easy look. For me it is about functionality and performance. I think by looking at this TIGE' also took that stance.

One more note on that, I wear polarized prescription sunglasses. Have you every tried to look at detailed LCD screens with polarized glasses? You have to take them off most of the time. May not be a big deal for others, but polarized glasses are popular for boating. I like my LCD on my 24Ve, but I like the analog guages as well.
